The 1st and 3rd Gundams were designed by Okawara between 1980 and 1983 for Gundam Century and Mobile Suit Variations and the 3rd appeared in the novel version as G-3 Gundam. Visually this is the same as the RX-78-2 except for the darker blue color scheme. This kit is a nice way to switch up the classic design! Since this is a Ver. 2.0 release, you can expect the excellent redesigned inner frame that allows for great articulation, as well as new decals for extra customization. The arsenal included with this kit is huge: it includes the Gundam Hammer, beam rifle, hyper bazooka, beam javelin, two beam sabers, and an attachable super napalm launcher for the beam rifle!
